Biography
There comes a time in everyone's journey where they realize they may need some support. My name is Katie McDermott and it would be an absolute honor to be that support for you!

My own journey began around 10 years ago, when I started to struggle. I was dealing with depression, anxiety, and a host of physical ailments such as fatigue and digestive issues. Like so many, I consulted so many doctors. I was labeled as having a multitude of mental health issues and was given some very basic instructions from my doctors: diet and exercise. With a lot of time and a lot of fight, I came to find my health issues were much more complex (Feel free to ask me!), and required care that I just wasn't getting. I needed more support.
My life changed when I started looking intro functional and holistic medicine. I met a wonderful practitioner and worked through complicated medical channels to figure out my exact problems and how they could be helped. What I need to know was how: How could I help myself? I needed more than just vague instruction on how to make seismic life changes.

How It Works
First we meet and see if we are a good fit for each other by discussing your health and wellness concerns and history. Then we set up a relationship where we meet and discuss what your goals are.
From those goals we start to form plans of action. These are small, meaningful changes you can make to meet those goals in a time frame that works for you. We work together to ensure that you meet those goals by reflecting and take steps along the way to make those changes.
